Our defence has become complacent....

They all know that they are in the starting line up as we have no one to replace any of them. Its started to show in there performances.
We need to get players in to compete for place and hopefully this will have a knock on effect and improve performances in games!

 

our defence is nothing without hugo colace protecting them. they were short of pace last season and still are.

 

but we have competition up front and they're just as bad - one league goal in four games

 

This season its not just pace we are lacking....

Its positional sense, awarness and concentration as well.

I agree Colace sitting in front of them does make a big difference though (Y)

 

The difference is..

We have finally just signed a striker that will hopefully that resolve that situation, and another that is almost back to match fitness.

With the defence we have nothing..... and no sign of anything either!!!
