There seems to be something inherently wrong with our defending. If the Head Coach and his assistant can't sort it, then the club need to get in a defensive coach. As much as anything else, it's this side of our game that has resulted in the position we now find ourselves.
We work so hard to score and give away easy goals. Definitely got to be our area to recruit in January. Excellent to go through today tho. Nyatanga unfortunately because I like him seems to be one of them players that losing follows him around. There have been some glaringly obvious defects in defence. Our Alfie has not covered himself in glory with one or two of them. He jumps like someone the Mafia have prepared for a watery grave and gallops back into defence like a nag that's cleared the last fence in the National. Lewin at centre back is not too bad imo. Roberts is more raw than a blood red steak. We do need what we've disposed of - a JMV, Darren Moore type. We're a division below now. It's physical down here in the depths of League 1.
