First goal - most of the team taken out by our ***** FK but then four players all ball watching nobody sprinting to the half way reading what is about to happen Second goal - probably even worse DKD is the only player who does his job, every other player has got the wrong side of their man - not to mention they have about three players unmarked if it comes back out and we have about 4 players not marking anyone or in a space to do anything it's absolutely schoolboy all season at the back buck stops with manager: 5 clean sheets in 31 matches fml
I'm not sure how it doesn't go straight to the keeper, looking at the second picture, he's standing where the ball goes in the net
all three are offside when that ball came in, same thing happened on a free kick before it too and I don’t understand why the linesman didn’t flag on either occasion as they are clearly interfering with play,
We've got massive issues at both ends of the pitch. Defensively we're an absolute mess and it appears we would need a 3 or 4 goal lead just to be comfortable. At the other end of the pitch Mladen has failed to recruit adequately.
Agree with all this and I may add the midfield. We have some very tidy technical players in there but none are workers who can put a shift in. When teams break against us we are very exposed and as we know we don't have the best defenders in this league. It really is sad ....defenders who can't defend ....midfielders who don't work and a no strikers! Terrible accumulation of a squad and no surprise we are where we are....and because we are skint the best we can do in recruitment to replace areas we have been screaming for new faces is to bring in "punts" who may or not work but will take 2 to 3 months to bed in and then chuck them all in together...madness!
