Track runners, Each defender pick up a man, get goal side and put in a challenge asap.
let the midfield press the ball, so the defense can just man mark the front men and wingers tight ish so theirs no options for their under pressure midfielder to pass to. its what the under 10s learn, our defense gets attracted to the ball time and time again leaving their man unmarked, until this is stamped out we'll continue to get battered week in week out.

Zonal marking if we can emulate what cheski do getting in the box making it real tight we can't do much wrong.

First half I thought Ramage wasn`t as good as Mvoto and we would have won more in the air with him in , but he did seem to shake off his nervousness or whatever it was and improve second half looking more assured. Expected more got less, story of the season so far.

It's not just the defense the midfield were awful too until McCourt and RNL were brought on. They gave the defense poor cover, kept giving the ball away, gave poor service to the strikers and they don't get forward into the box when COG is in wide positions with the ball. On a positive when McCourt and RNL came on things improved a little. Watford just had better individual players than us in 8 or 9 positions. If you win your 1v1s you stand more of a chance of winning the game.
