But are you bothered about those who are bothered about the player that isn't bothered ?

Are the midfielders bothered about the performances of the bothered ones or the one that isn't bothered ?

They should be bothered about the performances of the bothered ones but not the not bothered ones

    Anderson was class

Leon all the right touches, no product and no pace, Colace seemed lethargic and JCR was off the pace.

Anderson is the best player at the club, before and after Howard leaving

Howard in there instead of Leon and its a lot better midfield plus we would have won the game. Letting one of the leagues top scoring midfielders last year go for next to nothing to our local rivals is insane. On the plus point i can only see it weakening Daveys position

Yeah well said. Some great short passing interchanges, fantastic movement and dribbling from all of them. Completely dominated the game in midfield until the lat 15 mins when Anderson got tired... SD was probably scared of the crowds reaction if he did take him off, he probably should have though because in the last ten mins they looked like scoring.

Colace, about 10 times in the second half stopped them from breaking after our attacks fizzled out, either fouling or just holding them up... really impressive. Yeah none of them scored but we did have a load of chances, Leon could have had 2 or 3... can't beleive he missed the one in the last 10 mins! I'm happy with the performance though and another clean sheet. It will be rubbish if Howard does leave but with a midfield display like we just had, we should be fine. Maybe could do with a little bit more cover but we've got that young lad, can't remember his name, and Hassell if we have no one else.

don't you see your statement as a bit of a problem?

why should we be reliant on our midfield for goals? We put two strikers on the pitch and I'd be more pointing the finger at them, especially Macken for that penalty hit like a 5 year old would.

Oh and it's not as if Leon didn't score through lack of trying is it?

They looked like scoring in the last 10 minutes because

Leon was in the centre I think

McPhail, Anderson and Leon in the past few weeks have shown......

that we have had and still have better players than Howard, thats not to say Howard has'nt been good for BFC he has, but, he has not put a decent shift in for us for some considerable time.
You say that our midfield on Saturday have'nt had the plaudits they deserve, well, I for one don't fear the future without Howard.

Every team relies on their midfield for goals ................

......... and we do more than most cos our strikers are crap, with the exception of Hume.

My point is this - if Hume gets 10 goals who is going to score the others now that we have lost Howard? Can probably count on ten in total from the combined efforts of Foster, Campbell-Ryce and Macken.

Struggling after that - can't see 20 goals keeping us up, can you??

One of our best players against QPR opening day even though he had taken a barrel full of abuse all pre season. We play **** negative football away from home and not much more exciting at home he is a flair player in a team where its not wanted because the manager is clueless. A decent big man up front with Hume and we would have been a different team this year instead we play old man macken and pile of crap Odejaye, theres only 1 place a team with forwards like thats going to end up im afraid.

    What do you expect?

Our Captain goes to a local rival and you want people to talk about how composed Anderson was?

Just because its not focussed on today or all days didn't mean it went unnoticed.
