took advantage of a free football weekend to pop up to mi caravan, gone into the clubhouse for a beer & the England match is on.

Have to admit that NO ONE is watching, Kane has just scored & there was no response at all!!

It used to be a big thing, watching qualifying games for big tournaments, but I really don't care, honestly couldn't give a monkeys.

Wots all that abart, is it too much football to watch or the fact that we all know we will crash & burn when it comes to tournament time??

No - it's because we are playing the Bottom Rec.
    If it were:
    Belgium
    Holland
    Poland
    France
    Germany
    Italy
    Spain
    Sweden
    Argentina
    Brazil
    Uruguay
    Mexico
    Portugal
....... add others, then we would be interested.
But please not those foookers in Ireland or those foookers north of the Westerosi WALL.

i think many people (including myself) have watched so many England games and have been so underwhelmed that they have just lost interest in playing the majority of the teams. However like what Young Nudger says it's only Malta and maybe a 'bigger team' would bring a better reaction.

I think most of the nation expect us to win the small teams, so when do score against these teams most of us think 'it's about time'.

Where I was watching the atmosphere was very quiet barring a few young lads cheering but I'm
Guessing that had more to do with their accumulators than England actually bagging a goal.
