Any game is winnable, but also loseable. It's impossible to predict. If we win all three - and we are surely favourites for all three - there's a good chance we'll be in second place.
I'd be pleasantly surprised if we won all three. I'd take seven points if you offered me it now. Five has to be a minimum.
I think the Lincoln game is massive - we will see how they react after the Tuesday night 2nd half capitulation, it will either be still in with a shout of the automatics or slipping into the play-offs if we don't win I fear.
It's a shame the Lincoln game fell after the Bolton game because it's definitely loseable. I put it in the same bracket as Exeter.
On looking at all teams fixtures I think Peterborough are the ones to keep an eye on, I can see them nicking second. Hope not, but I fancy their run in
I know it’s an old footballing cliche, but it really has to be taking one game at a time. Lincoln will be a very tough game, no doubt, but it also gives our players the opportunity to get that disappointment of not being able to hold-out for 3 points on Tuesday out of their minds. Hopefully, they’ll all be fired-up and more than ready for the challenge
Weird how losing 1 of these games could be potentially better than going unbeaten. W1 D2 - 5pts, W2 L1 - 6pts
That's why un-beaten runs aren't the be all and end all for me. Over rated since moving to 3 points for a win.
Considering our form when it comes to playing the lesser teams, nothings a given. Winnable yes if we show up for 2 half’s of football, definitely not the case if we don’t. I’m optimistic though.
Lincoln are yet another team in form, as were Leyton Orient when they came, and also Wycombe had a great home record prior to our visit last week. Regardless of league placings though, Pompey and the reds are the teams to beat. No one has lost fewer than them and us, which is well worth remembering if anyone’s feeling a bit shaky because we lost the lead v Bolton,
Every game is massive at this stage of the season, the next game of the season is the most important, classic case of one game at a time for me
