This season I've managed to get to a lot more games than usual (15) and therefore have a pretty good idea on each of our players.

Colgan- Great shot-stopper, doesn't command box well enough
Austin- Good player, not a LB, looked at his best at CB
Hassell- Makes the odd error, overcommits which leaves a gaping hole, good in air
Reid- Best defender, lost a yard of pace this year (think he was rushed back from h'string inj)
Carbon- Good defender, wins most things in air. Injury prone
Kay- Quickest defender, makes howlers, over-complicates but now just hoofs it
    Williams- **** and overweight, slow
Tonge- not a RB, been slated on here, overcommits sometimes but has looked solid
Defence basically defend to high up the pitch when they are not quick enough

Shuker- Good player, in a bad run, needs to be rested
Devaney- Good player, ****-hot a few weeks back, runs his ass off, not getting it to him enough
Howard- Initially impressive, too fat, poor tackler, never runs back. Makes Burns run midfield on own
McPhail- No right foot, looked generally poor. Good passer
Burns- Best player for me this year. Needs to be encouraged to run into box a bit more. Would be good alongside kell
Kell- Looks composed on ball, has more time than everyone else. Give him time

Wright- Anxious against C'field but give him time. Not a sniffer, but causes problems
Hayes- Works bloody hard 'most idle player we've signed' B*ll*cks. Great player. More of an attacking mid than striker i think. Not good enough in air
    Richards-works hard not good enough
Nardi- give him a chance. Doesn't run around much, a bit lazy, but he is paid to score. Van Nistelrooy doesnt run his balls off. Nads IS THE ONLY PROVEN SCORER

Any disagreements i would be lad to hear.

Keep faith with team and we are good enough to go up. Without us, they're nothing. You reds.

    agree with most.

I wouldn't be too hard on Williams, yes he has been poor recently, but I thought he was doing well until he got dropped a couple of months back.

Kell, needs more time, looked ok the other day, but tonight he wasn't anywhere

tonge, bit inexperienced, but I think we have a good en here (and getting better each game he plays)

oh and finally, shuker... well I am not going to set another argument off on him

agree. think when tonge has played cm has looked good. i tink one of the problems with us (the fans) is that we get frustrated with the faults of some players e.g Mcphail cant tackle. But lets face it, they wouldn't be playin for us if they didnt have these faults!

    I also think

if we were told at beginning of season we were going to be in the position we are in, we ALL would have taken it.

I think we have all had our expectations given a violent shove into overdrive with the bradford and scnuthorpe games.

but I think we all have the right to slate em all after tonights gutless show.

its still not that bad when you look at the table, so I think I will try to sit on the fence a little longer (not that it has worked so far)

    Agree with your comments

which would indicate Ritchie got it spot on: we have an average side that over performed briefly, but have now found our level.

    good oh.
