It is puzzling when championship clubs are wanting our players ie Perkins and Mellis, yet we are split on whether either are or were any good.
It's the same everywhere. The grass is always greener. People suggesting Leon Clarke would be a good addition. Maybe he would be. All I remember is him being rubbish for Wednesday, and breaking his foot, having scored. The fact is that unless you watch players from other teams on a regular basis, you can't know for sure.
Good players in a poor team look poor. It's a team game at the end of the day and if individual players are watched closely by other managers they can see what that particular player is about.
