according to the official website we might not keep watt because our priorities have changed. Does this mean we are goin to bring in a 'goalscoring' striker. I hope so(Y)

According to Radio Sheffield there's a transfer deadline this Thursday

After which no more loan signings (or any signings) until 1st January. So if we are after someone we best be quick.

I didn't think Watt was any better than Reid or Carbon, but as both of them are often injured I think he's worth trying to keep.

Agreed, hope we can get Choppra

That would be a massive boost to the team & the fans.

true if we could get chopra he would be a great signing but it is highly unlikely that he'll want to come

    I disagree

out best defensive streak (6 games) coincided with Paul Reids absence.

never thought I'd say it, but I dont think he's part of our best defensive line up just now. And, you'll like this one....Kay is!

Kay and Watt. Kay and Watt.

thats a very valid point but we do still need to bring in a goalscorer until hayes finds form again

Kay was badly missed on Saturday. There was no one in control at the back and although some of our illustrious posters may not like to hear it. Anthony Kay does that. He would also make a better captain than Reid, for the same reason.

We need someone like Chopra to play alongside Hayes in my opinion. Hes got pace, he can finish and hes a goalscorer.
Richards works hard but a strikers job is to put the ball in the back of the net.
Hayes and Richards have got 6 goals between them and Shuker is our top scorer and hes a midfileder.
We have a brilliant defensive record resulting in us being unbeaten in 6 games but 4 of those 7 have been drawn. We have lacked a goalscorer to turn those draws into wins.
Hopefully Ritchie will be bringing in a striker to solve the weak link in the team.
Without a goalscorer = playoffs With one = Top 2.

    Oooh, I like this

Kay is, imho, still the best prospect at the club.

Reid seems too quiet as captain...

Reid is one of the best defenders in the league.

I think it's just a coincidence about the defensive form of late. He doesn't make many mistakes in games does he? The others do.
