I thought it was poor, but wow. We've played at their ground 24 times in total. Of these we have lost on 20 occasions, including the last nine times that we've visited Loftus Road.

The last time that we avoided defeat was in 1999, when we drew. We've drawn three times in total.

Our one victory was in 1950.

We really do need to win on Saturday ;)

We could well get something from QPR the team are well capable as in eg the Fulham game.
It’s the others after that given our consistency .
Thing is with the way things are going it wouldn’t have taken a massive effort on the scale of the great escape season under flicker to have stayed in this division this season .
Especially given the form Hull and Charlton are in at the mo.

Not a hope even when we have taken a decent side there we lose - only way we wont lose on Saturday is if the game is called off

Hoodoo is real. I refuse to believe that 20 out of the 24 barnsley teams visiting Loftus Road truly weren't good enough to win. They must have made a bizarre deal with the devil after our 5-0 win in 1950 that stipulated they should never lose to us again.

On the flip side, one of my favourite ever games was the Scowen inspired comeback a few years ago.

Wonder if our players are already on the beach?
Have they the heart and the fight, if not then don't expect much from now on.

It's a strange one. I thought they'd given up after the Birmingham performance. Might just have been unlucky against Reading and had an off day against Cardiff City. Either way it's a tall order now trying to win five from nine.

It's just statistical noise. The staff and players at both clubs have turned over so many times over the years that there's no way there can be anything to it. If you semi regularly play 40ish clubs then you're going to have a crap record against one of them.

That said, I expect us to lose, probably another abject 2-0.

The record is better than I thought. We drew there recently (if you can call 1999 recently).

I was there in 1999. Away stand is rubbish. No leg room, gold tickets are a joke.

I go with a QPR supporting mate 2 or 3 times a season the home stands are no better - no legroom and you can get a massive pillar blocking your view if you aren't careful - like we did for the Fowls game last season. Its a rubbish stadium - they want to move to a new one but cant agree with the council how that will work

But here's a positive thought. Loftus Road was the venue for one of our greatest last gasp escapes from relegation. 27th April 1964. We had to get a point at least, or we would be down to the old Fourth Division. If we got something, Millwall would be relegated. And …. we were 2-0 down at half time, but then Johnny Byrne, that greatly skilled inside forward, got us a goal back and then Jimmy Sheavills (few will remember - RIP) found himself all alone in the penalty area with the ball at his feet. In the words of the Barnsley Chronicle match report he 'found himself all alone in the box and looked all around himself before putting the ball into the net.' It stayed 2-2 and we were safe, but only for one season, being relegated in 1965. I had a friend who went to the game with a Millwall-supporting friend, who was expecting to see QPR do them a favour. When it came back to 2-2, he started saying things like, "Vis ain't no good. We've gotta do somfink abart vis' and seemed intent on a one-man pitch invasion, which, thankfully didn't happen. Millwall fans don't change do they? Or maybe they would invade the pitch today.

They could share with Brentford. Although ground sharing seems to be a big "no-no" in the U.K. A few years ago I was unfortunately sitting under a hole in the roof when it started raining. I'll be there on Saturday, though, with Jr. Didcot Red 1.

    CORY.
