in my opinon is now wafer thin.

It is to be hoped that Davey brings in at least 6 new players and not just the 2 or 3 he hinted at, otherwise we will have no strength in depth whatsover !

6? In my opinion we need....

    Back up keeper
    Left back
    2 centre backs
    2 Central midfielders
    Left Winger
    2 strikers

If he's looking at Butterfield & Potter to act more as back up next year then that leaves 7 still.

We won't bring that many players in

The finances won't stretch to it.

They've already decided their maximum squad size & when the inevitable injuries/suspensions hit, it'll be a case of bringing in whoever's available on loan.

Afraid to say I can't see that state of affairs changing for a long time yet either.

Maybe if more plastic fans who only turn up when Chelsea are in town bothered to show a bit more support we could have a better squad. It must be very difficult running a club on a shoestring especially when us fans are so demanding.

It worked for Burnley, small squad,no reserves, lower average attendance than Barnsley..........it can be done
