Sorry if its aleady been mentioned but what happened to some of our fans yesterday? Thousands upon thousands of reds fans just sat motionless and quiet. We tried and tried to get people around us to get behing the lads but they just werent up for it. Its like they were happy to have got there, wed gone behind and that was it.

Well, if they had the racist foul mouthed youths sat/stood behind them like we did

then they were probably hoping the 90 mins were over and done with. I was ashamed to be a Barnsley fan yesterday.

We had some foul mouthed teenage girls behind us but at least they made some noise. :D

Maybe that had something to do with the fact that some 25,000 people

had little or no interest in football whatsoever and were simply there for 'the day out', to say "I was there" and therefore cannot appreciate the pride and passion that comes with being a Barnsley fan. There was a man a few rows in front of us who was trying to gee the crowd up, bless him, but you can't do it on your own. The lack of atmosphere was the most disappointing aspect of yesterday for me - we failed in our task to be 'the 12th man.'

Spot on mate. You could see blokes all around our end standing up and trying to get them going but still nothing.

day trippers...had rotherham and spurs fans sat near us...no interest in supporting tarn...would have been better played at old trafford.
