... or certainly the marketing part of it.

If you renewed s/t before Friday 21st March, you're entitled to an extra ticket. Buy a new one and it guarantees a ticket.

We sold 900 s/t's yesterday apparently!

    our policy is excellent

We can't renew season tickets or buy semi final tickets yet.

We will however be having a new shirt out in time for wembley, only it wont be launched until 3 days before the semi final so most people will have already sorted out what they're wearing.

    Great at marketting are barnsley

Actually, our policy was emailed to the club as a suggestion to sell more s/t's on the night we beat Boro (I know the guy who sent it in!). Nothing to do with the "marketing Dept" at our club. That's commonly known as the Joke Shop.

We always sell s/t's early, much the same as everyone else (except you by the sounds of it) but would have struggled to sell them for next season imo.

There's been an air of despondancy around here recently before the FA Cup Q/F win and loads of s/t holders were saying they weren't renewing, particularly after the hike in prices.

    Marketing

interesting to read the former BFC Marketing Manager in the Chron the other week...

saying that as a Barnsley fan he left his dream job because he and the club had differing ideas..... (chinny)

his number two was given the job..... (titanic)

last season we announced season ticket prices on the 10th may with the deadline for renewals being the 30th june. I think if I remember rightly then I got my renewal for the first week in june so I had 3 weeks from recieving it to renew my ticket.
