Out of contract and attracting interest.

Is Mowatt out of contract in the summer? If so will he be leaving in January? If so again would you want us to sell him in Jan or see the season out and leave for nothing at the end of the season? How much would you offer him per week to stay?

Woodrow and Styles are attracting interest. If we had offers of £5m for each one would you let them go for the short to longer term security of the club?

 

If we sell anyone this window we want our heads effing read.

Id sell Mowatt in Januuary if he doesnt sign a new contract? Id offer him first to make him our highest paid player.

Id let Woodrow go if we were offered £8m nothing less and keep Styles no matter what the offer is.

 

£10m each. Let’s keep the players and build on what we have or make them pay real money.

 

Mowatt should only be sold if Whiteman is signed and still lined up as replacement.

Head and shoulders above anything else in that division.

 

Id like to keep all 3 but it is a business and we do need to sell sometimes to stay affloat or take a gamble similar to what Wednesday did.

 

If mowatt doesn't sign a new deal I think the club will sell and go in for whiteman. We don't need to sell sell woodrow or styles both on long contracts, every player has a price tag but we should be getting silly money if clubs are wanting either of them.

 

Whats you minimum for Woodrow?

 

Sell Mowatt who doesn't want to stay but keep every other regular player. I would look to get shut of those not getting a sniff like Schmidt, Miller and Green.

 

5/6million+ minimum proven at this level on target for 20 goals this season if he carrys on just extended his deal in the summer. Best striker we have had in a long time.
Styles is the player who we should be demanding big money for great talent still only 20.

 

Yes some like green, schmidt, bahre etc need moving on

 

We wouldnt get much now for Schmidt, Green or Miller is it worth holding on to them to see if they improve like J Williams, Walton, Anderson, Vic have, as not going back very far i wouldnt have wanted to keep any of those 4 but im happy enough with how they are progressing now.

 

I sometimes think this board lives for us selling our best players.

How do you know Mowatt doesn"t want to stay ? , his agent will be trying to negotiate the best contract he can for him & there is still plenty of time to get it sorted , also its only a couple of months ago when some on here were saying that Woodrow wanted away , the next thing he has signed an extension , a lot goes on behind closed doors with contracts & until something happens with a player you might just as well wait & see .

 

Kane is more than capable of taking mowatts position, I'm surprised mowatt is still first choice tbh. Palmer and styles waiting in the wings to fill a central midfield slot also.

 

I think we can afford to not sell anyone - Mowatt is a struggle because we've failed to agree terms for the best part of a year, despite the fact both sides have said they'd like him to stay. There's maths that needs doing as to how much we can afford to pay him vs what he's worth to sell, as above - if we sell him we'll be buying Whiteman.

I don't think we've any desire to sell Cauley or Styles, Cauley would be v expensive to replace, and Styles will be worth at least twice as much this time next year (so why cash in now)

 

Couldn't we at least just enjoy the weekend?

 

We will miss Mowatt if he goes, he never stops, the heartbeat of the team and now he’s back playing further up the pitch he plays dangerous balls fwd.
I also doubt that James will be here in January so do we really want to take James and Mowatt out of our squad? I hope not.
