RNL signed a new contract a few weeks ago.

They need to do what they can to keep Steele, Etuhu, Crainie and Daggers at the very least.

McShane would be a good signing, but only possible if he's willing to take a whopping pay cut.

Think McShane just signed a new contract with Hull. Or at least they want to offer him a new one. There was an article on it at teamtalk.com

I would imagine he'd be way out of our price range anyway.

Paul McShane &, Lewin Nyatanga are 2 of the worst defenders Ive seen this season

I'd hope for much, much better.

John Stones on season long loan, for example.

Need to work 24/7 to secure Steele; Cranie; Kennedy; Etuhu; Noble-Lazarus; Clark; Cwyka; Scotland; Dagnall and Rose. I am easy on the others, but those were core to the team effort and we need to build on their commitment. Foster and Hassell have been great club servants, but there comes a time when they might think that they would get a final lease of playing life elsewhere - I would have them, but not top of my list. Of the others listed I would have Waghorn over Tudgay and McShane, or Greer over Nyatanga. Please not Llera - I couldn't stand the stress every game of wondering whether or not he would a) give away a penalty' b) score an own-goal; c) get sent off; d) clobber the ref .... or possibly all of them.

    ^Agree with most of that
I'd release Kennedy though, as he is only going to be cover for Golbourne.
I'd keep Hassell, as he's versatile and would probably take a bit of a pay cut. Maybe as player/coach? I'd keep Foster too, as releasing Edwards, McNulty and Kennedy should free up plenty of wages for a new partner for Cranie and Foster is a great backup. His experience will be valuable too - some continuity within the club is useful.
Maybe release Cwyka? Flicker doesn't seem to fancy him...
I'd jump at bringing Tudgay back.
