    McPhail
    carbon
    hassell
    colgan
    burns
    shuker
    austin?
    reid
who else is out of contract? williams? wroe? kay?

to be honest i'd prob keep most of the above and get rid of williams and wore although i can't see that freeing up much money for better replacements?

give kell till end of the season and see how he does, but he looks to be doing ok!?

    I wouldn't keep

McPhail - just doesn't impose himself on the game enough
Carbon - decent centre half but far too injury prone

Dunno about Kell as we haven't seen anything of him as yet. Vaughan and Conlon are also out of contract and both those can go. Williams and Wroe would have to really buck up their ideas if they want to stay.

A lot of this depends on what league we are in...

Kell.......seen flashes but overall fitness will be the test. Probably offer a month to month deal
McPhail....got to be moved on for me. No doubts his agent will already be touting him round again
carbon injury prone, can't afford to carry him
    hassell undecided
    colgan move on.
burns think he will want to go back to Oz, and I'm sure we could find better
shuker think he will want to go
austin second half of season will tell
    reid keep
williams something must be a root of loss of form. Improvement needed otherwise out
wroe ta ta wears tights. can't play
kay if he recovers from injury okay then keeep

see i like McPhail i think he is are ONLY midfielder who can get a hold of the ball shrugg a man off and keep it simply, plus he drops deep for the ball to give the defence another option over than "have it" when this does not happen is when we struggle

start well at begin of season but has looked slughish since return from injury!

kell- too soon to say really
McPhail- up and down this season if he ups his game maybe.
carbon- No way in hell. waste of money as hes always injured
hassell- yes i actually rate him. cue abuse
colgan- yes despite second goal on sat he has been class this season.
burns- not his biggest fan but he does a job.
shuker- Could we sign better? that would be the question.
austin- yes is versatile worth keeping
reid- yep is solid, again a little injury prone so make it one year!

    I agree..

It's just that he does not do it consistently enough, and quite often he slows attacks down too much.

I also think he will want to go as we won't any where near match his present deal

    RE: I agree..

if he ups his game he would bea yes for me defo becasue he does control the game.

if carbon can keep fit from now till end of the season he would be another yes becasue he is the only one with any arial presence in the team!

    also i suppose

if he ups his game to try and get a new contract, the question would have to be asked what will he be like if he gets one?

I wouldn't sign MacPhail unless his wages really dropped, which I can't see happening.

I would get rid of Conlon and Vaughan

Maybe Wroe and Williams out on loan becasue they arent good enough at the minute and have stiff competition ahead of them.
