Out of contract players starting to feel the pinch. I recon situations like this is what keith is hoping to take advantage of. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19405554
A few good players on that list but no doubt they will want silly money. Would defo take Akos Buszaky (sp) and Papa Bouba Diop. Also as we seem to be collecting older strikers Vassell would probably do a job. Interesting point about Carlisle being offered 80-90% less then previous years. Looks like all clubs that don't have a sugar daddy are feeling the financial bite.
No real need for us to spend on transfers with what will become avaiable and dont think we have been in the hunt for anyone really excepting Norwood who was down as Butts replacement. Greer and the piss poor offer was just to make it look like we were active in the market along with name dropping interests to the media.
not so sure bout these 18-19 year olds he just signed one from man utd,,,,,hardley experienced hey ,,
Not only are clubs feeling the financial pinch due to the ongoing recession, but some clubs are also factoring in the Financial Fair Play rules in advance. I think this is something people on here forget when they bang on about signing players and asking where the money is. In a few years time we'll be financially in a better position than some.
