When is the club going to get real and move into the 21st centuary. Its ridicules people having to queue for hours on end to get tickets, we should be able to go online and book them, didn’t Patrick make all his money selling software so surly they could install a good enough system to be able to do is
Look what happened to the NHS software system Isoft developed. Got slated left right and centre, over budget, years late. Isoft shares collapsed
yes but thats the NHS,a big beast not a small football club, the more this has gone on the more I feel the club is being run by complete idiots who should really not be there, that fella who was responsible for the Liverpool mess should have been sacked,I know if I went to work and did something of that messure I would certainly have lost my job
People didnt have to queue like they have Its people own choice to panic unnecessarily. Im always the first to criticise the club for its policies but on this occasion I think peoples greed and/or stupidity have caused the scenes we witnessed yesterday.
no its not down to panic people simply want to get the best seats to see what could be a once in a lifetime thing. Its not often barnsley fc play in a the fa cup semi final.
RE: no its not down to panic And if people want to get the 'best' seats they should expect to queue, and not moan about it.
still, not panic though Like many others, I made a decision I wanted £55 seats so I made arrangements with work, got up before dawn and queued for them. Most people who did get out of their lazy beds were perfectly happy to do so and happy with the tickets they got.
exactly my two mates queded in shifts for ours. I couldnt due to work commitment. We decided we wanted £45 we wanted 12 together, so though it would be best to make sure, neither of them complained that they had to wait hours its just the way it is. Those that have chose to wait because they dont want to que up and are happy as long as they are in the ground, fair play to them and they are happy too. Wheres the problem?
ok maybe panics too strong a term But being worried that you wont get the best seats or that you wont get seats together in large groups. Im not too far off the mark am i?
Its not just the FA cup semi tickets im talking about Our fans queued unnecessarily for Chelsea tickets when their own seats were guaranteed. We just keep doing it. Some folk queueing through the early hours to buy tickets for fairweather fans, family that have never been to a game and even fans of other clubs.
A thought You may be able to link yourself to a mate or two on an online ticketing system, but there is no way you will be able to get dozens of tickets together like people are doing now.
true I think the queue system is more flexile for the majority of supporters however some sort of on-line sales system for "distance" supporters and those who canot get to oakwell would be sensible.
Having said that, look on West Brom's message board. Plenty of people moaning about their online ticketing system. http://www.westbrom.com/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=d2cdcb86824228b5a0468a3cca551ea9&topic=26101.100
Alright mate?! Between us we had 5 season tickets. I told everybody there was no way I was queueing for hours just so we could all hold hands at the match. Everyone was fine about it so we had a steady drive down today and as it happens we got most of our seats together, spread out over two rows.
Aye, not so bad mate Think I might be developing a chill from yesterday's queuing though. Feel decidedly ropey today (seestars)
As I said, I think the club have largely got it right this time. All they can do is ask and trust the fans to be sensible and hopefully help out their fellow fans.
RE: Aye, not so bad mate As long as you got what you went for. What sost of time did you get down there and how long did you have to wait?
