    were cheering Nottm Forest (note the correct spelling of it) to win both Euro cups as a English club!!

    I remember being at Sheffield Top Rank (now Academy) watching The Undertones one of the nights they won it, 1980 I think.

    I wasn't

    But mainly because there was a lad in the 6th form who had suddenly started supporting Forest when they got into the 1st Division, so I wanted them to lose to **** him off.

    You might have heard of him, he's done some work with the FA and been mentioned on here.

    Both games were beofre the strike, if thats the point you're trying to make. To answer your question yes I wanted them to win both games.

    just what i was about to put, Forest won in '79 and '80,strike was '84 through to '85,thats a total non starter of a question!

    i would have wanted them to, as i cheer whichever english team gets to a euro final.

    Man Utd vs. Chelsea upset the balance a bit mind, just wanted them to kick 10 ton of **** out of each other :D
