I would choose Shipperley every time. He's one year less old than Horsfield (31) and he scored 11 goals from 35 starts last time in a promoted side. Horsfield scored just four and they were in the first two games of the season. He hasn't scored, then, since last August 2005. Maybe Warnock knows something we don't! If Coventry want to bid £500k that's out of our range anyway. If Ritchie is serious about signing an experienced striker and about playing wingers to provide quality crosses, then Shipplerley is the man. Might also bring the best out of Hayes and Nardiello alongside him.

    Shipperley without a doubt..

He's scored goals this season to help get SUFC promoted, whereas whenever I've seen Horsfield (admittedly at Premiership level), I've regularly accused him of being one of the worst strikers in the Premiership that I can remember.

At this level I'd probably still take him, but I'd rather have Shipps without a doubt.
