Poor discipline and a poor performance. Their first goal was due to poor marking by our central midfield and although the ref was harsh can you really argue?
I cannot think for the life of me why Austin played instead of Williams and the team as a whole showed a total lack of professionalism and character.
We only created one chance in 90 minutes which a half decent centre forward would have buried.
Having the piss taken by Donny Rovers 2 seasons in a row, it really is the pits.

    disagree

we had 3 chances at end of 1st half

    we weren't out fought

agree Aussie should not be in team. our problem is that there is no one there to get 2nd ball when conlon gets flick on or when ball goes loose but then again we did have 10 men for most of game so its a bit tough to support

Trouble is that Conlon's flick ons are very rarely controlled and go anywhere, having said that Hayes hasn't the pace to get onto any. They don't seem like a partnership at all.

    agree on that

nardi is the only striker who offers owt different to hayes and conlon. from what i've seen of richards he is similar.

Nardiello's got to play for me. Hayes hasn't done too bad but Nardi's the best finisher at the club. Conlon doesn't score enough goals and if he didn't play we wouldn't resort to hoofing long high balls up the field.

If you were to put money on that, I suspect that you would lose it.

If you'd seen Fat Boy Williams "performance" on Tuesday night you might not be questioning his non-inclusion......

we thought that Conlon was your best player today. i wish we had him. we were very happy to see nardiello on the bench and hayes play. as a Donny fan, can i just say that i don't think Rennie had a good game by any standards today. he missed a few more niggles from both sides that could have been cards. The thing that i would be mad at as a Barnsley fan, is that effectivley your left back cost you the game. All your fans were ringing radio sheff banging on about how you had no chance to win the game but we were one up before the sending off. both players should be find two weeks wages. they would be if they were DRFC players.

think we had a few chances, all over them at one point. kay missed three easy headers. hayes was poor. conlon won everything and held it up well but didnt do anything with it. shuker ran his arse off but never really had a chance. didnt think either was a sending, booking at the most. and considering we had 9 players didnt play too bad. for the life of me cant understand why williams didnt play. austin is a right back so he plays him at left back when a perfectly good left back is on the bench. then he gets sent of so he plays kay there. then he gets sent off and still williams doesnt get a chance. seems strange to me.
