Sounds like the team played well tonight and we were unfortunate not to get anything from the game. Looking at the positives, in our last 2 matches we have just played the top 2 teams in the division and have not been disgraced. Also, all the teams we have played thus far are in the top half of the division; we have played the top 3 teams and 5 out of the top 8. We done all this with a significant amount of injuries. Taking all this into consideration shouldn't we be confident that we can achieve a much better finish than last season? It may not work out that way but I think the signs are promising.
On another night one or two of those chances would have gone in and we might have won 2-1, 3-1. Sometimes that's the way it goes. If we continue to miss them then obviously it's a problem, but at least we are creating them, something that was unthinkable in the 2nd half of last season.
