Great performance and a tremendous win, all despite one of the worst, most biased referees I've ever seen. Winnall took a right kicking all afternoon and got nothing off the ref and Hammill got a forearm smash in the face and again nothing given. Bizarre, made me wonder if he'd taken a backhander or maybe he was just incompetent. Wigan clearly thought they'd stroll it today and got a right shock. Tempers fraying by the end. Will make the league game interesting in a couple of weeks.

Hammill was excellent again and Winnall looked much better with the impressive Toney up with him. Watkins is better out wide but can still be frustrating when he gets in good positions and wastes them. Pearson had his best game for weeks and Wabara had a decent game. All in all very entertaining and I haven't been able to say that for ages...
