According to Radio Sheffield the window is closed until next thursday, after then loan signings can be made but players can only be signed for a maximum of three months then the player has to go back to their own club. Both Wednesday and Sheff. United have confirmed they expect to make signings next week.

    Just remember this:

"We've made a lot of enquiries about players who we feel would be good acquisitions for the club, but they were out of our price bracket/weren't interested in joining.

"So, we've brought in someone who once scored a half-decent goal for Holgate in the second year. He should solve the striking problem we don't have."

    That should see you right.
