I didn't think we were too bad today (apart from poor finishing) in the grand scheme of things and recent performances. If Woods hadn't made a pigs ear of the open goal chance, if pederson had put one of his two good chances away, if ogrady had played jennings through instead of pederson we may have come out 2 or 3 up today and everyone would have been happy. Good points for me were: Steele made some great saves Mcglaughlin was top drawer to say he's not played for so long Pederson was lively and finally created a bit of movement up front Nyatanga played petty well and seems to be improving with every game Jennings again gave his all and played pretty well Ramage did well but was obviously not fully fit and the bad points Woods - just a jogger on the pitch - just plain poor and the miss was awful Kennedy - didn't do too bad for half the game and made some good clearances but my god his decision making and thinking speed is pathetic. And he still can't play a solid ball - instead he permanently floats his passes which mean 9 times out of ten they are 50/50 balls by the time they reach their destination. And the 2 back passes he pinged back towards steel - he wants a right nadding for. Ogrady - put in a shift and did ok but i am sick and tired of him going onto the left wing and deserting his post up front. Also he is become a one trick pony with his - go out to the wing, collect the ball and then make a dash for the back line and then try and turn a defender with the outside of his boot and whip a cross in. Predictable as ever. His decision making was very poor today and like kennedy his speed of thought is cumbersome at best. He thinks he's prem material but i think he's a very average champ/league one player. All in all we could and should have won today. Just shows what a difference a top quality striker would have done today. We are still in the game but time is running out and we are still not picking points up. Again some results around us went for us but you watch - next time we win the rest will win again. Hard to see anything else than relegation but we have to keep believing and fighting to the end. Down but not out yet! Chins up fellas and lets keep fighting.
Make that five, tho I'm going to annoy everyone by saying I didn't think woods had a bad game overall, granted he made a pigs ear of the corner and should have played Jennings thru but apart from that I thought he was ok, i've put my tin hat on
