Last night after the whistle had gone the overreaction had started.

England are this, that or the other. Rubbish. England are a very good team that got a point away at their group rivals.

When England are in town for any sport there near the top at you will get three things. England will have lots of fans, the surface will not be ideal and the opposition will be at their top level or even playing above that. Now that doesn't matter if that's in Football, Rugby or cricket. It happens.

They already have some good players. Quite a few play in Italy. Stevan Jovetić that every team in Europe would want and has been linked to a lot of the biggest clubs in Europe including Chelsea. Mirko Vučinić, he's not bad either.

England aren't used to playing on that pitch, it wasn't good enough and it's something UEFA and FIFA have to look at. It doesn't matter how good you are in your different sport. Just look at the cricket team. It's taken them time to adapt to different pitches and they have a team of world class players. Even Ali Cook who will be England far most run scorer struggles at times.

You go to their fans. That fired up before a game they are fighting with each other but when that whistle went there were on the same side and wanting there team to win. Every time a England player went near the side they have things thrown at them and some verbal's. They will not be used to that. Hart having to clear up his pen area. That will be different for him. Take his mind of the game. Thinking what else's going to come down, will it hit me? maybe it will be something more than a loo role next time.

Also England had Key players out. Walcott, wilshere, Cahill Jones i think was also out. When we played Brazil in the last set of games we had these players. They bring something different to the team. 2/3 of your best players out and you will be affected, FACT. If you took shillingford, Gayle and chanderpaul out of the WI team they would have struggled and not won in three days.

I think people just need to calm down and just think about what they’re saying. England have 3 out of 4 at Home. They should have players back.

Some of the people on here and in the media wind me up so much like Bob Willis does. He's another that can't wait to have a pop at players. He's on the lookout all day just to have a pop at Ali Cook, Trott and Stuart Broad and people are do this with the England Football team.

We've got some Young players coming through who are good but let's not pile the pressure on.
The Barnsley managers always saying about mistakes and not getting on players backs, i think we should apply this to the national team's too.

No over reaction from me......just straight forward fact, in that we dominated first half and should have killed game off. When what actually happened is we allowed Montenegro back into a game that should have been over after first half.

If you're happy with a point away at Montenegro, then your expectation level is very low.......they are not exactly a powerhouse of world football are they?

Poor pitch, crazy fans, injuries (not key players in my opinion) should not have changed the outcome of the game. We should have won and we blew it.........AGAIN.

I agree there's always an overreaction when England don't win. Last night was a must not lose game rather than a must win.

All teams fail to win from time to time. Look at Spain, they could only manage a 1-1 draw at home to Finland on Friday, can you imagine what the media/fans would be like in England if we got that result?

I think the fault lies with Hodgson, we got our tactics wrong second half, had we continued to play how we played before we scored we'd have won by a few but immediately you could see we dropped back 10 yards.

Dear boy, although you do live in your own little world, sadly it happens to be connected to everybody else's....if other peoples opinion annoys you, then your going to be annoyed all your life...coz you can guarantee not a lot of people will think like you...

Still think goal differance isn't important?

Overall though I agree with you. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, thought it was really entertaining, and nobody is giving credit to the Macedonian manager for changing it at half time. He got them fired up at half time. It wasn't that England didn't continue as they left off, it was more that they weren't allowed to.

It's not a good team Hemsteiger, the we had much better players in the 90s in every position.

    Anti Climax every time

If English football was as good as you make out,

    a) we'd have won something in the last 40+ years
    b) we'd have finished them off in the first half

I'm sorry, but we are nowhere near Brazil Germany & Spain.

Forgive me for not being thrilled at a draw, it's just that it's the same old story tournament after tournament. It's uninspiring, boring and bordering on embarrassing. Glad you enjoyed it though.

I know you like to think your generation has the best players but it doesn't. I wish I was wrong but I'm not. We don't have a player half as good as Shearer or Gascoigne. Wellbeck? Don't make me laugh!

The FA keep talking about developing young talent and have pumped millions into this dream.

We are no further forward having spent a hell of a lot of money.

We do not have one world-class player at the moment, whereas go back 20 years and we did have the likes of Gascoigne, Shearer, Lineker, etc.

The FA is a joke, the Premier League is just plain selfish greedy and couple these two facts together, it is easy see why England international football is in the dire state it is in.

Personally I would rather watch kids/local football......it's honest for a start.

Gerrard is the only player who comes close and he's finished now internationally.
