I hoped for 7 points from August and 7 points from September.

I dont really think anyone could have expected anymore than that.

To have an average of 8 points per month is excellent given where we have come from, the age of our squad and the budget we're working under.

If we can take at least 5 points from 12 this month we're still be on track for a mid table finish. I think we're capable of more than this this month too. Hopefully we can take 7 points with 3 out of 4 of the games at home.

The international break has come at a good time for us. Form has dipped and with what went off with Tommy Wright it means we can regroup and go again with 2 massive home games against Fulham and Newcastle.

It also gives us chance to get White and Janko back to full fitness.

Wishing the next 12 days away already.

    Come on you Reds!

Couldn't agree more. Think it's all been a bit doom and gloom for some after the last few games, but putting things into perspective I'm chuffed with how we've started. Roll on the 15th!

Well said that man. We have done very well so far and the international break allows us to recharge and refocus.

    Onwards and upwards

agree 100% with all of that

we should be more than happy with our start to this season. Tighten the defence a little and sharpen up front a little and we will be well on course for a great season.

Simple way of looking at it is we've won 5, drawn 1 and could easily have had something more from the games we lost.

We've only failed to score in 1 game, and we're enjoying plenty of possession.

This is a million miles away from our last stay in the championship.

Completely agree. In a 46 game season there will inevitably be runs when we go a few without a win, but for every winless run there will hopefully be a winning run. I'd like to see White and Bree back next time and Watkins playing up front, don't mind who he plays with. Hopefully we can get our style back like we did against rotherham, Preston and Wolves and there's no doubt we will give all of our next opponents a run for their money. I'd be happy with 8 more points by the November international break but it's not unrealistic for us to get more
