RE: I thought that... Against very high class opposition I thought we acquitted ourselves well. Especially after the first ten when i feared it might get embarrassing.
Thought Hammill wanted to beat them by himself, which shouldn't detract from a very good performance by him.
Pity we couldn't hit the target, but we were playing against a team that could've stepped it up a gear had we scored.
On a general note I think Butterfield seems to be growing stronger and getting into games far better than I thought he would. Although he then just adds to the conundrum that Robins has with getting the balance right in midfield.
That said, back to reality at Peterborough wher we must not lose.

Posh is a must win... I'm confident that if the players can replicate anything like last night we will win, obviously if we score....
RE: I thought that... I also thought United played well within themselves and could have upped it at anytime. Cruise control. Lack of consistency from our midfielders is making Robins job difficult at the moment. Good effort from the lads shame some didn`t put the same amount in last Saturday.
Correct then again, looking at the next few games - Peterboro then the Blades then Cardiff - you might hear more from me.
We agree on so many things.. Colace, Foster, Politcis (?) but then Simon comes along and spoils it all.... There I go again...
Didn't we only have one point when Davey got sacked? With the transfer window being shut, Robins has had to resort to short-term fixes to get us up the table. Persistence with Kozluk and Odejayi would've meant relegation by March.
Amazing how different folk see things differently - Halfredsson was m.o.m. for me last night - thought he was bloody excellent. If he was off his game then I look forward to him being on it - it'll be awesome!
RE: Adam Hammill will pay for our new west stand and Liverpool probably put in a 50% sell on clause...........
I wouldn't say it was a decent performance it was very very good one i thought. Couldn't get to the game so made do with Sky coverage, watched it at home on my jack (you can concentrate on game a hell of a lot more with no distractions) Its a lot different watching it on box to being there, like i say you have no distractions, you get a better overall view of the game and have the pleasure of seeing chances replayed. I would say thats the best i've seen us play on tv in a long long while in a game i've not been at. Thought Bogman was excellent, really worked the channels well and was good with the ball. I thought Emil , Anderson and Hugo all passed ball well after a nervy opening 10mins. Hammo got better and better and the move where he pushed it past the defender and danced into box only to pass it to keeper was fantastic and frustrating in equal measure. He's a fantastic player on his day and will only improve but i can see why he didn't quite make the cut in Rafa's X Factor, his decision making needs a bit of work. The two lads who deputised at full back gave the manager a headache for Saturday, both were solid, Gray at fault but he hasn't got the strength and build of Dicko so can't criticise too much. Would love to see him on left wing attacking full backs. My grumble is our total lack of aerial threat from set pieces, as SM said Foster had two free headers and got nowhere near goal. Robins must really work on this coz him and moore wouldn't score with no opposition and defenders!!!! I bet we haven't scored from a corner all season. This must be improved Butterbean must be knocking on door every week for a start, the lad has got good vision and passes a ball extremely well for a young pup. All in very pleased with our efforts against a very good Man U side in my opinion (although i felt they never really hit top gear) Keep it up Robbo and we'll be fine
