Is it me or have we got completely the wrong perspective of BH? I honestly say this based on his season so far -and not just after last nights poor showing. Technically, there is no doubt he is a good player. Yet, at times his passing and vision I feel can be average. Sometimes it's very sloppy. OK, he gets his fair share of goals for a midfielder but let's face it half so far have been penalties. I don't thnk he looks the most athletic of players either - His alleged off field activities may be responsible in this respect? He also looks lightweight when tackling. Don't get me wrong this is not saying he is a bad player - far from it - but to me he looks nowhere near the 3 million bracket.......... 2 divisions below Redders, Hignett and Glav I would say.
Playing too deep... ... when he goes forward he leaves a 'Togwell' sized hole behind him.
Glavin had his McHale
Redders his Sheriden

I opened that post with some trepidation... ...and i was right to. If TFP agrees with me I'd better edit it..... oh bugger ran out of time.
Howard is good, but still not in the same class as redfearn and hignett, but just imagin them three in the midfield together, that would take some beating, but personally dont think he will be here much longer, a prem team will come and swoop.

RE: Playing too deep... Well now Anderson has gone back, maybe that 'Togwell sized hole' will be filled. Obviously with Togwell.
If anyone comes in offering silly money, we should snatch their hands off, because he isn't the player some people on here seem to think he is. His form is very patchy. When he is on form he is slightly above average but when he is off form he is a waste of time and money. On the strength of Monday nights game, Anderson isn't one we should be wasting a lot of money on either.
