Yes I remember he was brilliant in that 3-0 win against Hull. There were a few flops from those bunch of foreigners. Onome Sodje looked promising in pre-season and then fell off the face of the earth. Mounir El Hamouir was not really up to championship standard. O'Neil Thompson never really got a chance. Halfredsson left after a year.
O'Neil Thompson had an absolut stormer against Man City in that friendly and that was all we saw from him really. Halfredsson two good games. One against Wednesday and one against Newcastle.
we saw enough of Thompson away at Watford in robins first game, so had robins and worked it out pretty quickly he wasnt good enough.
O'Neil Thompson had a cracking game against Burnley in the League Cup too. It's funny how you get these players that look good every time you see them but then rarely get played.
