Re: he may as well go for it I don't think anything is cut and dried, new owners, particularly if they haven't got the amount of finance that has been suggested in the media, may not want to start paying people off straight away.
Re: he may as well go for it This will be one of the jobs I reckon Keith will fancy, might possibly be a bit too soon for him.
Re: he may as well go for it Why on earth would they sack a manager who can work on a shoestring.Don't expect new finance- more likely asset stripping will be on the cards.
Heard news on radio this morning, didn't know what was funniest, the deeply poetic justice the Burnley fans will be enjoying as we speak, or the thought of Phil 'No Relegation' Gartside readily binning the man he was happy to tap up from local rivals Burnley (and wax lyrical over as the right man to bring renewed success to Bolton), as part of his desperate efforts to ensure Bolton don't become the next Portsmouth. Couldn't happen to a more deserving pair.
Said this before, probably. But why would Bolton want Keith? He may have worked wonders at Rochdale, and he's done okay here, just about. I would be amazed if they appointed him. In fact I'd be amazed if he's even in the reckoning. Results business, and as much as I love Keith, his results are losses in the main....
