Re: Their fans aren't happy bunnies Of all the taxi drivers I spoke to in Jordan (and that was quite a lot!) the lowest number of offspring was 5... the most an eye watering 12!
Re: How was Petra, mate? Yes thanks, had a really good time (although 45 degree heat was a bit much!) Petra is amazing, and Amman was a surprise too. Took a few pics in the national museum (at the Citadel) for you which had things dating back 8,000 years and some stone age flints and the like too. Might put you on til you actually make it there yourself! ;-)
Re: Id love to see them Not a problem at all, not downloaded them from my phone yet, but as soon as I do, I'll message you and can mail them over to you. Any historical period especially that you're interested in? Took loads at Petra and went back at night where the "Siq" was lit up by lanterns with around a further 1,500 candle lit lanterns lighting the Treasury... magical
Most of my practical work Has so far been Iron Age & Romano-British. However, I also love anything from Prehistory (Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age).
