Driving home last night, heard an interview with owen, who said we got a bit on top in first half because we had the wind and the SLOPE!!!! (doh)

I always think we're playing downhill

When we are playing towards the players entry stand. Perhaps the pitch is fairly level
but from the Pontefract end its looks like a slope. Anybody else got that impression ???

Have had the wonderful pleasure of playing on the hallowed turf a couple of seasons ago...

i can safely say there is indeed a slight slope down towards the North Stand, although not so much that in my opinion would make all that much difference.

Hey, I just realised that I've been "playing" on the hallowed turf many years ago as well!

Didn't notice any slope though... :D I was passing the ball with Chris Morgan while someone was taking photos

Very slight indeed then again compared to most pitches I played on it is also like a carpet! nt
