I would imagine it would cost £250-300k tops. I hope we get him though.

I'd like him here. He was great for us. But their fans' valuations and suggestions that he was the reason we stayed up are hilarious.

I hope we sign him for an undisclosed deal. Just to piss them off.

I think he'd be a pivtoal signing but we need to ensure we don't get mugged. Wednesday didn't want him and would probably not care if he left on a free in January. A great 5 months or so with us and suddenly he's worth loads. What with the rivalry and need to appease their own fans, I'd imagine SWFC will be holding out for more than what would appear reasonable. 400k sounds about tops to me.

I don't think £500k is an outrageous valuation - where else would we get a decent Championship target man for that sort of money? However, the most I can see us paying for anyone these days is £250k. Quite how the Hume deal came about I will never know.

The suggestion that we would swap Mellis or Perkins for anyone is laughable!

To anyone else Wendy fans(?) would take a half of bitter and a bag of pork scratchings. It's only because he wants to come to us that they're valueing him as if he's Ronaldo!

Apparently one reason why Megson got sacked. Manderic didn't like his style and Megson told his otherwise

One thing id say, we may have to wait until Aug 31 to get our man...what the Wendies think is true..for them.. ie that he's done very well for us, and we want him..so that puts the price up. supply and demand..Doubt Milan will do us any favours
Thats probably why we are not making a stink about making offers for him...play it cool...P P P Poker Face..

No chance of a swap deal. Who would want to go to that dump anyway?

I'd go in at 100k, probably what you'd expect to pay for an unwanted striker with a year remaining on his contract. Bit of haggling and agree on 250k.

Next season COG goes on to score 25 goals and Everton come in for him, offering £4 million. Que meltdown at S6.

Next season they agree a lucrative sponsorship deal with the following:

    Tell them 150k 200k.

He wants to come here with Flitcroft. If they turn it down tell them we'll not pay anymore. In Aug it'll be them offering him to barnsley.

They obviously want rid to free up the wage bill, so i can't see them messing about. I'm confident both clubs work out a deal that makes both clubs happy.

I was told when we signed him on loan that the fee was agreed for a permanent switch in the summer. It's quite likely that SWFC have no control over the fee at all. That seems to be how a lot of January loans are done these days.

Given his status with them in January, I can't imagine it's more than 300k.

I'd be surprised if it's more than a quarter of a million. Really hope he signs though.

The '£350k' that they claimed to have paid for him is very much an over-exaggerated figure, according to Paul Walker.
