I've been browsing around on there since the final whistle. On several occasions a little bit of wee came out. https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/forum/3-sheffield-wednesday-matchday/
Like this one "Terrible second half performance full stop, but as soon as they scored we looked completely done for. No confidence, no composure and we didn't even seem to realise what system we'd switched to. Lucky to scrape a draw in the end."
My favourite was the thread entitled "We look absolutely shot" and someone replied "Your phone's autocorrected the thread title...". Cried buckets!
Celebrating like we'd won the cup after the match is my favourite. You see, as with Leeds the season they got relegated, we realise that points are precious and you don't automatically get them by being massive and overspending on wages. #Teams like Barnsley irritate another giant of Europe.
Apparently Jack Hunt (remember him?) got involved in a ding dong with a fan after the match. Hee hee, wheels coming off? https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/261710-jack-hunt-at-the-final-whistle/?page=1
Strangely erotics feelings whilst reading that This was predicted on here... https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/261727-how-poor-a-side-are-barnsley/
**** them, it's about us not them , they've had more than enough luck over the years . Must be nightmare spending 50m and drawing with #littleoldBarnsley .
Interesting view from a couple of their fans: They're a team who've lost all of their best players (including one of them to us!) and are having to replace them with cheap youngsters from the division below. This season was always going to be a struggle for them. And yet they're only 4 points behind us with a game in hand That was a poor Barnsley side. WE should have been 2 up by HT - those 2 saves from lees saved them. After the hunt injury W.E absolutely went to sleep- and one strike out of nothing got them the draw
And another... What's that make us then? We have won only one game in seven, and Barnsley one in eight...seems we both are poor sides, but lets not forgot Barnsley have spent £33.95 we have spent £700 billion, so if you were a football chairman, whom would you want as your manager?
This on hearing that Winnall has scored for Derby "Just another kick in the ballbags. Thanks for Butterfield though, Derby. Great deal."
