everywhere says that the second was an own goal.. but i saw devaney head it in. whats going on? maybe anyone whos seen this on tv can clear it up?
It would have been interesting, if..... the own goal that was disallowed for offside had stood!! Then it would have been 3-2 with, all three potentially being own goals!
RE: It says OG on BBC.. Seen it in slow-mo, convinced it's Devaney's but others think he headed it onto the defender's head and it wasn't going in without that.
This needs sorting out before Bradford as I'd put my money on Devaney for the first goal. Seeing as o'g.'s don't count I reckon my bet should pay out on Devaney
RE: looked like devaneys goal all the way to me on sky sports news calendar also said two home goals. Couldn't really tell at normal speed but watched it in slowmo and the defender had the last touch
Devany i thought so at the time and ive seen it on telly several times and still think he headed it in
Sky footage showed it went in off a Southend player AFTER leaving Devaney. At best it was a deflection.
A bit like Colgan's.
