I've read in a few places, that it's the clubs decision to request the allocation, but if they don't sell the allocation they've asked for, they get an heavy fine.

Anyone confirm this? If true, I reckon we've done quite well asking for only 25,000 - if we need a few thousand more, I guess we can just request then. Oxford on the other hand, I can't see them selling 40,000, unless I'm missing something, so potentially a fine heading their way?

I don't think its a "fine" as such. Its more that they have to pay for the tickets they don't sell.

Happens in the Premier League week in week out . . . .

It would make sense. Can't fault the club if that's how it works either.

Oxford won't sell anywhere near 40,000. They're taking the ****.

Well from.my family alone there is a extra 7 who don't usually go to home games regularly for the day out. The town of barnsley is alway good at supporting the club on a big stage 20k+ I reakon

Nudger has already had his suit pressed and his trainers scrubbed ready for another Wembley outing.
