Spoke to a few after the game. Basically said they played average and expected better but felt this was a big game where they maybe froze a little. Said we were a quality team, but they did make it easier for us. Time will tell - I thought we were class all over the pitch, but we will have bigger challenges over the season. For me, it’s nice to win the first game - but it can mean little going forward. Exciting times ahead though.
Bear in mind they have always done badly at our place, I think they've only won here once, so Im surprised if any of them seriously thought they would win this one.
