    FA Cup game today
Neither Thomas or Kane in squad. Have we stopped em playing so we have a recall option if we want em back?

Hope so - Kane could make a difference.

I’m not sure he would at the moment. Would just be another midfielder in his early 20s with less than 100 first team appearances to his name, in a midfield 2 that is outnumbered by the opposition

He looked very ordinary in his few games for us, but we’re so bad that ordinary would be an improvement.

I think he’s a talented player, and was unfortunate to get injured after his best performance at Bournemouth. But I think Gomes, Benson and Palmer are talented midfielders as well. I don’t think there’s a need for another talented young midfielder. We need some experience alongside them and/or a system and a game plan that will give them a better chance to succeed.

Kane would be better off staying at Oxford for the season than coming back and playing in the middle of a 3-4-3.
