I can see Patrick walking if this is to carry on, which would be deadly to our football club.

All this was started by some nob on an Oldham forum

 

And then brought to the attention of this forum.

Like bloody wesher women.

 

I really do wish that PC and the club could find a way to ignore the couple of dozen vocal people who just want to knock the club whatever it does. It can't be doing PC any good dwelling on the nonsense that they spout. Although it should be acknowledged that the cr@p about LJ threatening to walk was started on an Oldham forum. What beggars belief is that any Reds fans gave any notice to it.

But nonsense will be spouted and as the owner of a football club he's just going to have to learn to ignore it. Jeysus, even Arsene Wenger gets booed by Arsenal fans every now and then. I'd much rather hear him saying he's not going to comment on such nonsense. I know that will lead to the lynch mob demanding statements, etc, as if they have some sort of divine right to be privy to every conversation at the club, but just ignore them. And don't tar the other 99% of the Reds fans with the same brush. That's what Keith Hill did, and it didn't work for him!

 

It was started as you say by some oldham job but was soon latched upon by our own sheite stirring knobs who can't resist the opportunity to have a go at our own.
I know it's only a small minority but they don't realise how much they are damaging the BFC brand, who would think about going to watch a game for the first time after reading some of the bile on here.
Don Rowing criticized for not keeping us informed etc so we bring in Ben Mansford who has been ripped to shreds for trying to drag the club into the 21st century, ok some things he said haven't come off but things change behind the scenes which can't be foreseen.
We're fortunate to have them both at our club, think on the old saying "you never appreciate what you've got till it,s gone"

 

If this post is PC genuine......would it not be better to either ignore these media blatherings (unless they are properly sourced and from someone of repute) or take the piss out of them?

There are men on the Clapham Omnibus out here who do not get their truth from social media.

Our Dear Leader (if it is he) is too sensitive. Or else he's had enough of benefacting and craftily slinks nearer to the departure lounge.

Anyway let's hope this never-say-die attitude permeates down to the team!

This is a thread supporting the club, bugger off and ruin another thread with your bile.

 

if find it hard to believe that a club chairman would air his feelings and transfer dealings on social media,especially the bit about salary caps and money changing hands as a gift.

He's brought a modern refreshing professional face to the club, he engages with the fans wherever he can, he's approachable, he has contacts throughout the game amassed from his days as an agent.
Does he make mistakes? Course he does, as does Pat Cryne, do they deserve the poison spouted on here no they don't.
They're trying to do their best for our club instead of knocking it at every given opportunity.

 

Its a good question and one that warrants an answer.

I think we all support the club hence the reason for participating on the bbs, but there's issues we all have differing opinions on.

Don't see where bile comes into the equation.
