What's been the issues with the vids ?

 

Half that is from the Leicester game alone.

Didn't realise he tore them to pieces so much that day

 

Errrm, something to do with persistent, multiple copyright infringement.

Plays well against teams in blue, Paddy.

But let's be fair, I'm hardly hurting anybody am I?

If the video was titled 'Barnsley FC - What a set of basterds' and went onto show every mistake ever made by the current players, current staff etc etc, then fair cop.

 

It would also be about extremely long.

 

I've done a review of the season so far. It'll take me a while to upload that one, but it's 11 minutes long and it's only got to the Huddersfield victory. I'm having to do them in stages. Just sick of editing them now, so part two might be a while yet.

And once I've done them, they're on my laptop forever, as memories. If they're kicked off youtube/online etc, not that arsed. Just think it's good to share, more BFC vids the merrier, especially for our faraway fans who rarely see us etc, I know a few in particular appreciate seeing Tom Kennedy's 'vision' even if it's only via a grainy video.

Ah like the 'bloopers' vid that they used to show at the player of the year awards ?

 

I've never attended one. But I know a man who does, and I get a dvd every year. It's poor quality, mind.

 

All that and he's only ever started 8 games for us and come on as sub in another. More skill in 9 games than 99% of players manage in their entire careers. Some folk will say he doesn't do owt though.

He's the only reason it's worth going to see Barnsley at the moment, particularly now O'Grady is injured.

He doesn't tackle, he never passes, he's totally unfit, he's a luxury player we can't afford, he doesn't defend.*

Funny thing is, there were at least three clips from QPR, another Leicester clip, two more Reading clips and two Wednesday clips that I didn't use.

The song was only 2 minutes long so that was the key reason, but the Wednesday clips I wanted were only on the SkySports website and the video expired apparently so I couldn't use it. Which angered me, because the way he megged the Wednesday defender was awesomely done.


I watched it back (after faffing with it for over an hour this morning to get the timing right) and it made me happy. In fact, he's pretty much the key driving factor in me attending games at the moment.

 

I'd still go if Paddy wasn't here. I've got a season ticket. I'll by another one in the summer whatever happens. I'll go for the rest of my life, I hope, if finances allow. But Paddy is the reason I'm looking forward to going at the moment. I can't wait for the game tomorrow. Can't wait to see what he does next.

 

Aye, I suppose that's what I meant.

But not being a season ticket holder these days means I can miss the occasional match should my life have other pressing priorities and I think tomorrow is one of them.

But knowing I'll not see Paddy is a blow.

But it's hard to justify the expense at this time of the year with a house move next week, Xmas on the horizon and - I have to be honest - the apathy that's crept into me once more.


If someone wants to lend me 50 quid then I'm in.

How he hasn't scored or created more goals with skill like that is beyond me. If the other 9 outfield players could only take inspiration from Paddy we'd be ok without a doubt!

 

Decent video but I had to turn the sound off so I didn't have to listen to those annoying f*cking Thai Tims.
