Whatever the answer is all his clubs seem to come to the same conclusion about him. He's barely a 'footballer'. He might be ok at beach soccer, although there might be too much sweat involved for him.
I think he is a fantastically talented footballer, but he doesn`t seem to care very much, it is frustrating to see these players such as him, will all the skill, but no application. Shame really, a wasted career !
One of the most gifted and talented players I've ever seen, and I've seen us play against some very talented players who play for the likes of Man City, Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea. His work rate left a bit to be desired at times, yet I don't think he was as lazy or workshy as some make out, I just think he was very inconsistent. That goal against Boro was probably the most special thing I've ever seen on a football pitch; Barnard's goal was a beauty, but he just caught the ball flush with one touch, for Paddy McCourt to dance his way around 6 players (2 of them twice) with the ball under such close control was absolutely phenomenal. Then to watch him going through the motions in other games, it makes you sad to feel that they are the same player.
The trouble was he was clearly too good for us, we couldn't play to his strengths because our players were a load of *****. That and he never got a proper run of games.. Shame, he was the most exciting thing about last season.
That must be the same for Celtic , Brighton et al . He has never done it with any club apart from a select few matches. The problem cannot lay with EVERY TEAM, MANAGER , CHAIRMAN etc in football if Paddy wastes his career! A terrific talent , but he does not seem to care.
That's how I feel about Daniel Nardiello. If he hadn't been silly enough to join QPR and had put in the effort to match his undoubted talent he'd have been in the premiership one day.
