SSN have extended the clip to just before he gets the ball (initially it showed him in possession going forward). He has a poor first touch, nearly loses the ball, recovers, ends up with his back to goal two players bearing down on him, then just turns sublimely and leaves them for dead. A third player is close by but can't or can't be arsed to catch him. Paddy's got no pace? Nonsense. He might not be a ball chaser, but he creates his own space then he's off. It doesn't look at first as special as the Boro goal, but watch it again. He beats 6 players, including the goalie and one with the lay-off to Tudgay, who read it perfectly and looks a great foil for Paddy and Mellzie.
