Have a feeling a few of these post on here. https://www.facebook.com/Channel4News/videos/10153842562976939/ Maybe we need a "Donald Tusk" figure to lead us out of this mess.
As usual which such reporting by the media we have no idea if the interviews shown were an accurate reflection of what happened or were selected to portray a message the editor wanted to make
Of course it is...........and the Leeds based television programs do it regularly. That is to say..........we need to interview a group of people that sound a bit thick........OK, lets get to Barnsley
They'll have definitely been some sensible people there who didn't make the cut but that still doesn't change the fact that the first guy actually said (and believed) that.
Well yes, it showed the the people interviewed that they don't really have a clue what they are talking about.
My point is we do not not if it showed all the people interviewed or only those that fitted with a message that the editor wanted to make
The people of our town voted 68-32 in favour of Leave. On that evidence, most of our town are either thick or selfish (or both), so I've no doubt that video is an accurate representation.
https://twitter.com/bbcnewsnight/status/746466834610692096 Going to get a shock some of the voters in time to come.
Why do we blame the media. What the media do well is find the real people, with real views to support a position they want to tell. It's therefore clear you come to Barnsley or Rotherham if you want to make it easy to support the view they chose. Unfortunately I have met a lot of people across the UK this last few months who have said the same, some even in an artultated and educated way.
He obviously knows a lot more about politics than you. Do some research on Donald Tusk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ignoring the fact that the first guy is clearly deluded it highlights everything that's wrong. A poor grasp on the actual concept of immigration so he voted leave. I can almost guarantee that if you sat him down, showed him all the figures and facts he would have still voted out. That's the depressing part.
