    Jimmy Anderson goes off grumpy because Cooky declared and stopped him having a proper bat. Comes back out and gets two wickets in his first two overs.

    T20 finish coming up. With poor light an issue we have about 50 minutes to score 99

    With Bairstow, Stokes and Buttler in the team we can do it. If wickets tumble they just have to drop anchor and take the draw

    What a finish.........and then we have the kick off at Roots Hall. Hmmmmmmmm

    I'd more or less written off the cricket today and planned to head out and get some jobs done before the kick off at Southend. - no chance of that now!

    The Pakistanis will be trying every cheating tactic in their armoury to stop us winning. Slow over rate, constant field changing, feigning injuries.....and then the light will have gone.

    As inevitable a result as you would expect to find anywhere in the world. This business of umpires deciding the result of a game absolutely STINKS.

    It's easy. Umpire to Joe Root and Ian Bell: "Can you see the ball lads?" "Yes" would be the reply.

    Simple game ruined by the cheating gamesmanship of the Pakistanis and pathetic ICC rules on light meters.
