Should be ****ing abolished. They aren't being used to cover costs. They are being splurged on £10m players.

It's obscene. Imagine sharing some of that money down the pyramid. Could help a lot more clubs improve their infrastructure, academy's, coaching. Perhaps that is a better way to develop more talent across England.

Won't happen though. Keep the billions restricted to 25-30 clubs and **** the rest

Personally hope Villa, Newcastle and the like implode and their backers leave them in administration.

Premiership took the soul out of football and now the championship is stamping all over the heart.

Glad Fulham are beating the black and white *****.

Its same filtered down. York & Dag&Red relegated outtta L2 will get £700k over 2 years each in the Conference. North Ferriby came up into the sane league and their budget is well less than half of that aline

The powers that be REALLY need to look at the disparity of funding.

It seems like the more money that goes into the game it just means higher wages and higher transfer fees - not lower costs to the general public, improved youth coaching.

Yep, I remember writing an article about it for one of the websites I've written for a few years ago. It only gets worse.

One of the few things Keith Hill spoke a lot of sense about was Parachute Payments.
