Just sat on paradise beach in olu deniz with bob Marley three little birds banging out from beach bar. YOU REDS....
Yeh it's beautiful here bit warm mind. Not sure about cocktails but tried one or two efes in there, it would be rude not to.
Stayed in Fethiye a few years ago then Oludeniz last. The Sultan Ahmed was the pick of restaurants I think... and watched the 5-0 Brum win in the one of the bars up there! Mind your head for the passing paragliders though!
Ha ha I'm going to do it on Thursday before I come home just sat watching them now still time to change my mind tho. We're stopping in hisaronu just come down here to use the beach going on the sunset boat trip tomorrow night should be good.
Drove through Hisaronu when going on a trip to Saklikent & Tlos, didn't really get a feel for it though And not to put you off... but someone died a few days before we arrived in Oludeniz last year when there chute didn't open!
We stayed there in a hotel half way up the massive hill on the way out. All week I said there was no way I'd go paragliding and then on the last day I decided I had to do it! Brilliant experience. Also try the fish market in Fethiye - select your fish from the market and then a local restaurant cooks it for you.
Thanks all going to fethiye for market tomorrow (I've come with the missus). I've heard about the restaurants doing that might give that a whirl too. Paragliding is still definitely on the agenda.
There was a place called Mozaik Bahce (or something) which got rave reviews and was the tastiest food we've had in Turkey. That was Fethiye but can't recall which bit. English woman serving and it had loads of lamps in the front of the restaurant. Also an Ottoman one which served food in claypots which was also really good and insanely cheap. Enjoy!
