    From an outsider looking at the Prem, this is such an underwhelming appointment.

    Same people going from one job to another, getting the sack and contracts paid.

    Pardew, Big Sam, Moyes etc. Utter tedium.

    Just the usual premier league merry-go-round of managers. Pulis will probably be back before the season is over.

    agree about it being underwhelming....the only good thing to come out of it is that at least its a British manager rather than another foreign one. Now if only that was the policy for signing players we'd be onto a winner.

    Agreed. I'd like to see a cap on foreign players in any matchday squad.

    It'll never happen I know, as it would be like a footballing version of Brexit.

    One of the (IMHO very few) potential benefits for Brexit would be that it should be harder for European footballers to just rock up and play in the UK. Players from the EU should need to have the same criteria as non-EU players (international caps, etc) which should lead to more UK-born players in the top divisions.
