Thoughts on shocking events in France's capital. Are we gonna see this come across the channel and what can be done now to stem the flow of these mentalists. Thoughts go out to the people who have lost loved ones

    this got me

Meanwhile, the Football Association will hold talks with French counterparts on Saturday to discuss whether England's friendly with France in London on Tuesday should go ahead

Sensitive fkers at the FA obviously! I mean lets not let a national tragedy get in the way of a football match, peoples safety or a chance to make a pound or two!!

I'm not sure that's the motivation, for all they know the French fa might want the game, to prove a point to the rotten *******s or whatever. Plus if they are to cancel, even on a day of great tragedy like today, there's nothing wrong with trying to get the message out early to save people transport costs and unnecessary inconvenience. All they've done to this point is say they are going to communicate with them as far as I can see.

The fa might be a ****tish money grabbing corporation but I don't think for a second they'd try to convince the French to come and play if they didn't want to or try to have it sorted early just to save a few quid. There's the obvious security issue as well, if they did play it would need probably ten times the policing. The fa would have to pay for that, and that's assuming the met have the resource. Whilst none of last nights atrocities were aimed at Britain, should the French decide to stick two fingers up at the terrorists and show they won't be dictated to by playing, you'd think it has to be at least a possibility that something would happen at Wembley or on the trains and ferries coming over the channel.

It'll be pulled, and rightly so, I would think. I'm no fan of the fa these days but I'm not convinced they've done much wrong here.

Cancelling the game is exactly the kind of reaction that the terrorists would want. If the French players are happy to play then I would let them.

I agree with most of what you say, except the bit about not being aimed at Britain. Last night's atrocities were aimed at every nation these terrorists sees as their enemy

Tragic last night not sure how you stop these extremists especially when they don't care if they live or die. Can't help but think we caused or helped the whole extremist situation though and refugees. We went in to an illegal war and unstabilised the middle east Gaddafi and saddam had these extremists under control. We killed thousands of innocent civilians. Why did we never go in to Zimbabwe simple no oil. Tony Blair and bush should be put on trial for war crimes.

Always easy to blame someone else. We the people voted the labour (Iraq) tories(afghan) everything else in . Doesn't mean you can indescrimatley target civilians. The governments of that time were working on good information. If you think it's wrong vote em out.

I never said that it was ok because it isn't. I said if Blair and bush hadn't have gone to war with sadamm and gadaffi isis would not be as powerful as it is now and there would not be refugee flooding Europe trying to escape isis. weapons of mass destruction that were never found. Why did we not get rid of Mugabe in Zimbabwe? Or the nut job in Korea? Maybe as they have no oil.

The weapons were either destroyed or hidden well. Sad man killed thousands of his own people with his WMDS. Ok so tell what next who's gonna lead us down the good and righteous path and how will they do that now it's all our fault.

Just because they didn't find any doesn't mean they weren't there. Did Mugabis regime ever have any bearing on us as a country. It's what you want to hear. You can't keep goin in places just because , but you can't allow tyrants to affect your country and way of life. If you don't like it do something about it.
